Sound, symbolism and your own practice

What are Solfeggio frequencies?

This contemporary sound-meditation collection groups nine pitches: 174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz. Hertz describes how many times a sound wave repeats each second.

Each of our recordings blends one exact, sustained tone with gentle pad harmony. Music contains many frequencies; the number names the tone included in the mix, rather than every musical note.

The meanings above come from contemporary Solfeggio practice. We use them as personal listening intentions, leaving you free to notice your own experience.

Questions about Solfeggio meditation music

Which frequency should I choose?

Start with a listening intention that feels relevant: grounding when you feel scattered, self-kindness when you feel drained, or reflection when everyday demands feel noisy. These are invitations for your practice, rather than promised outcomes.

Are these pure tones or meditation music?

These are ambient meditation music recordings containing a quiet, exact-frequency tone. They use soft bass and lower-register atmospheric pads, with no drums, piano, vocals, narration or high-octave pad lead.

Is 432 Hz part of this collection?

No. 432 Hz is often discussed separately as a tuning reference. This collection contains the nine frequencies listed above.

How long are the videos?

The website, Shorts and Reels previews are 30 seconds. Each frequency also has a full 10-minute audio session available directly on this page. Press its listening button to begin; there is no autoplay.

Are these binaural beats?

No. The same exact-frequency tone is present in both stereo channels. The ambient pads add texture and harmony.

Symbolism and research sources

Contemporary symbolic labels vary between practitioners. They are not evidence that a particular frequency treats a condition.
